Frequently Asked

Quick answers.

Is artisan and youth registration really free? +
Yes — completely and permanently free. Every Nigerian artisan and youth can register and attend NAES 2026 at no cost whatsoever. Registration also activates your TRAAN membership if you are not already a member. Visit the Register page to sign up.
When exactly is NAES 2026? +
The Summit is scheduled for August or September 2026 in Ibadan, Oyo State. The exact date and venue will be announced via traan.ng and all TRAAN and TAUON social media channels. Register now and you will be notified the moment the date is confirmed.
What is the Guinness World Record attempt? +
NAES 2026 will include an officially adjudicated attempt at the Guinness World Record for the Largest Simultaneous Demonstration of Artisan Trades — thousands of artisans across 50+ trade categories performing their craft at the same time. Every registered artisan participant becomes part of the attempt.
Can artisans from outside the Southwest attend? +
Yes. NAES 2026 is a national event open to artisans from all 36 states and the FCT. The event is anchored in Ibadan and the 7 Southwest states, but any Nigerian artisan can register and attend. Travel and accommodation support for out-of-state artisans will be announced closer to the date.
How do I apply for a media press pass? +
Email media@traan.ng with your publication name, role, and the type of coverage you are planning. We respond to all media requests within 24 hours. A full media kit with event facts, approved photography, and spokesperson contacts will be made available to accredited press.
How do I enquire about sponsorship or exhibition space? +
Visit our Sponsors page for full details on all five sponsorship tiers and segment options, then fill in the enquiry form. You can also email partners@traan.ng or message us on WhatsApp directly. Our partnerships team responds within 48 hours with a bespoke proposal.
How do I download the partnership proposal deck? +
The full NAES 2026 partnership and sponsorship prospectus is available on request. Fill in the enquiry form on the Sponsors page or email partners@traan.ng and we will send it to you directly.
What is the difference between TRAAN and TAUON? +
TRAAN (Tradesmen & Artisans Association of Nigeria) is a national membership and registration body for artisans — providing verified identity, a national directory, and economic programmes. TAUON (Tradesmen & Artisans Union of Nigeria) is the umbrella union representing artisan associations across all states. Both organisations are co-hosting NAES 2026 — bringing their combined membership and reach together for this historic event.
